Hawai‘i Civil Air Patrol West-Oʻahu Composite Squadron gifted a $10,000 donation

Kapolei, Hawaiʻi – The Hawaiʻi Civil Air Patrol West-Oʻahu Composite Squadron Commander Lt. Col. Danny Carter, will accept a $10,000 donation presented by Jon Mauer, President, and CEO  of Island Energy Services, LLC (IES), a Hawai‘i-based energy company headquartered in Kapolei, Oʻahu.

Island Energy is a locally managed energy supplier serving the state of Hawaiʻi by safely supplying and transporting fuels to aviation, utility, and marine customers.  Island Energy is also the exclusive licensee of the Texaco brand in Hawaiʻi and offers retail customers its fuels through 58 Texaco®-branded gas stations statewide.

When asked what prompted IES to support the Hawai‘i Civil Air Patrol with such a generous donation, Mauer said, “IES is proud to be an integral fuels partner to the aviation industry. The products and services Island Energy provides to this sector play an important role in the overall economy of Hawaiʻi that benefits both residents and visitors as well.  Through this connection to the aviation industry and our focus on STEM-related education programs, it is our hope that this contribution helps inspire and creates opportunities for the next generation of potential pilots, aircraft mechanics, and other aviation enthusiasts.”

We deeply appreciate Island Energy Services, LLC for their contribution, and continued support in Cadet Programs, aviation, and Emergency Services.
