Our organization is dedicated to serving the community through Cadet Programs, Aerospace Education, and Emergency Services. We would love to share more information on how you can get involved and help us fulfill our mission of saving lives and shaping futures. 

Since our inception on December 1, 1941, Civil Air Patrol has utilized civilian aviation resources to serve the nation's defense. Over time, it has transformed into an esteemed public service organization undertaking emergency missions in the air and on land.

As a Total Force auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force, Civil Air Patrol is invaluable in locating the missing, providing assistance during catastrophic times, and guaranteeing national safety. The organization's tireless 64,000+ members are dedicated to improving their communities, promoting aviation and related fields through STEM education and CAP's cadet program, which aims to mold future leaders.

With an unwavering commitment to its 82-year legacy of service, Civil Air Patrol and its cadets continue to serve the nation and maintain strong relationships with approximately 1,500 communities across the country.
