Blanik Familiarization Course

This course familiarizes the user with the Blanik glider cockpit.  To use the course, download the zip file and extract the contents. Double click on the file entitled index.html, and a "start" screen should open in a new browser window. Click on the various gauges and other items in the cockpit to learn more about them. A new page will open for each item you click on. When you're done with an item, click on the link at the bottom of the page to return to the cockpit. There are 23 items to explore.

There is no online test for this course. The "test" will occur at Dillingham airfield when the pilots ascertain how much you've studied the cockpit using this material. All cadets preparing for glider orientation rides are highly encouraged to master this material.
