Cadet Program Directors Message

February 2022

Aloha & Welcome,

As the Director of Cadet Programs for the Hawaii Wing Civil Air Patrol, I would like to encourage you to progress in your leadership and critical thinking skills through our youth program. I hope that with your experience, you gain the necessary tools to follow your pathway as a cadet or senior member.  Our program, which has an extensive history dating back to January 18, 1947, has progressively enhanced its goals of guidance and partnership with cadet programs nationwide. There will be times in cadet programs that will challenge you to take what you have already learned through your perspective squadrons and apply them to your training as a cadet and a senior member.  I encourage you to continue a positive pursuit through your interaction with the curriculum set forth by our Cadet Programs staff and national standards.
