Local Squadrons
Hawai'i Wing is home to 10 local units
Join your fellow civic-minded community members who volunteer with the Hawai'i Wing Civil Air Patrol all over the state of Hawaii. Our volunteers make our essential missions possible. Without the more than 61,000+ volunteer civilian members of the Civil Air Patrol nationally, we simply could not provide our leadership-developing program to tens of thousands of youth, save hundreds of lives each year, and help make our community a better place to live.
Hawaii Wing Civil Air Patrol is comprised of ten squadrons across the Hawaiian Island chain to provide our youth and adults an opportunity to learn, participate, and volunteer in Cadet Programs, Aerospace Education, and Emergency Services. Our local squadrons meet once a week and provide essential training, leadership skills, and exposure to the many opportunities for personal and professional growth. Interested in being a part of our organization and the amazing activities, events, and services we provide, please locate the squadron nearest you below for your introduction to our program, services, and opportunities.
The Civil Air Patrol has volunteers from all backgrounds and ages. You don’t need to be a pilot or a member of the Armed Forces (though pilots and veterans are absolutely welcome to share their experiences). CAP volunteers can be teachers, medical professionals, public employees, engineers, machinists, truck drivers, business people, and really anybody over the age of 12.
