Hawaii Wing Civil Air Patrol assists in helping transport PPE & other medical supplies to Maui Emergency Management Agency
During all that is going on around the country and the world, Civil Air Patrol (CAP) has stayed mission-focused. Our volunteers have stepped up to help our communities across the nation.
Here at Hawaii Wing CAP, our very own Maui 057 squadron took part in a medical supply and PPE mission this past Saturday, May 30th, delivering over 800 lbs of much-needed supplies to the Maui Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) to support our fellow first responders and communities.
Mission Flight Pilots were Lt. Col. Wayne Denesik and 1st Lt. Jason Torikawa-Domingo. Ground team staff consisted of Hawaii Wing Commander Col. Chantal Lonergan, Maui Squadron Commander 1st Lt. Darryl Ng, Maj. John Santos, Capt. Pat Mulligan, C/SrA Jaimelynn Lonergan.
Mahalo to County MEMA director Herman Andaya (who is also a 2nd Lt with the Maui 057 squadron) and Capt. Carol Murray, our Incident Commander, for all the help they provided in getting this mission off the ground.
