Emergency Services

TRAINING TO BE OF SERVICE TO OUR COMMUNITY, STATE, and NATION (and having fun doing it) -- On Dec. 7, 2019, several squadrons of Hawaii Wing Civil Air Patrol gathered at Kalaeloa Airfield on Oahu for emergency services training. Youth and adult members reviewed land navigation, radio communications, and direction finding skills in an effort to achieve Unit Direction Finding qualifications and prepare for our upcoming Search and Rescue Evaluation ("SAR EVAL"). We brought the day to a fitting close with a commemoration ceremony honoring the victims of the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor.
